How are expenses split?

By default, costs are split by each person's ownership share. You can also split specific expenses differently, for example when one owner books a track day, and everyone sees exactly what they owe and what's been paid.

How does booking drive time work?

Owners reserve time on a shared calendar. FleetShare prevents double-booking, tracks each person's seat time and mileage, and lets the group plan and vote on events like track days.

Does FleetShare handle the legal side of co-ownership?

No. FleetShare helps you organize and record your arrangement, but it isn't a legal agreement. We recommend putting a written co-ownership agreement in place and checking title, registration and insurance requirements where you live.

Does FleetShare move money between owners?

FleetShare records expenses and payments and shows who owes what. Settling up happens through whichever payment method your group already uses.

What happens if someone wants to sell their share?

Their equity history, contributions and the car's current value are all in the app, which makes it easier for the group to agree a fair price and update ownership once the sale is done.
