Not at all. Spota is built for car enthusiasts, not just supercar owners or heavily modified builds. You can explore the map, complete playlists, spot other cars, join the community and build your profile whether you drive a project car, a daily, something rare, or don't own a car yet.

Cities become playable maps filled with automotive locations, collectibles, photo opportunities, scenic spots, driving routes and territories. You can follow curated playlists or simply explore, with different activities rewarding XP, progress, badges and discoveries along the way.

Territories are real locations around your city that players can discover, claim and compete over. Holding territory gives you another way to represent your presence on the map, while other players can challenge your control as the local Spota community becomes more active.

Spotting lets the community capture the cars they encounter in the real world. If someone photographs or records your car, they can send the media to your car profile for approval. Accepted spots become part of your car's history and credit the person who captured them.

Drive Mode is Spota's live driving experience. It combines real-time nearby visibility with playlist progress, territory gameplay and convoy features, so a normal drive can become part social session, part game and part exploration. You can use it to get spotted, complete activities, cruise with friends and track your progress while you're on the road.

No. Location is used to power nearby discovery, live sessions, playlists, territories and other map features, but being publicly visible is not the same as simply having location access enabled. Features such as Drive Mode are intentional actions, and you remain in control of your device permissions and live visibility.

Yes, and you should. Spota's driving experiences are designed around the trip rather than constant screen interaction. Set up what you need before moving, use voice or passenger assistance where available, and always prioritize the road and local driving laws over anything happening in the app.

Each car gets its own profile where you can showcase photos, specs, modifications, build progress and spotted moments. Over time your Garage becomes a living record of your cars and how they've evolved, rather than just another collection of social-media posts.

Yes. Spota is built around local car culture, so you can discover other enthusiasts, follow builds, join clubs, cruise together and compete across the city. Convoys can also turn normal drives into shared sessions where friends travel together through the same map.

Yes. Spota is free to download and the core experience is designed to be playable without paying. Optional premium upgrades may add extra limits, customization or convenience features, but you won't need a subscription just to participate in the Spota community.
