FleetShare1.Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using FleetShare, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Child Safety Standards, and any community guidelines referenced herein.
FleetShare is operated by Spota Labs, Inc. ("SpotaLabs", "we", "us"). FleetShare helps groups co-own cars: track ownership shares, split and record expenses, book drive time, plan events, keep maintenance records and message your group.
2.User Eligibility
- Must be at least 18 years old (or older where local law requires)
- Must be able to form a legally binding contract
- FleetShare may suspend access if age, identity, or account behavior violates our policies
3.Use of the Platform
You may use FleetShare to:
- Add a shared car and invite co-owners
- Track ownership shares, contributions and the car's value
- Log and split expenses, and record payments between owners
- Book drive time, plan events and keep maintenance records
You may not use the platform to:
- Harass, stalk, or track others without consent
- Post hate speech, explicit content, or violent material
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent who you are
- Engage in unauthorized promotions or scams
- Reverse engineer or exploit the app technically
- Add people to a group without their agreement
4.Account Security
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential
- You must notify us immediately at support@spotalabs.app of unauthorized activity
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts due to policy violations
5.User-Generated Content (UGC)
- You retain ownership of any photos, videos, recordings, documents, or other content you upload
- By uploading content, you grant SpotaLabs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, and share it as needed to operate and improve FleetShare. We'll only feature your content in our marketing with your permission
- You may not upload content you don't have the rights to (e.g. stolen photos, other people's documents)
6.Co-Ownership & Group Records
Not a Legal or Financial Agreement:
- FleetShare records how your group has agreed to share a car. It isn't a co-ownership agreement, a contract, a title or proof of ownership.
- It doesn't give legal, tax, financial or insurance advice. We recommend a written co-ownership agreement.
Money Between Owners:
- FleetShare doesn't hold or move money. Balances are calculated from what members record, and you settle up outside the app.
- We aren't responsible for disputes between owners or for mistakes in recorded amounts.
Group Records:
- Anything you add to a group is visible to its members and becomes part of the group's shared record.
- If you leave a group or delete your account, some records stay with the group (see Delete Your Data).
7.Misuse Policy
Prohibited Activities:
- Recording false expenses or payments.
- Uploading documents you don't have the right to share.
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others.
- Using bots, scrapers, or unauthorized third-party apps.
Prohibited Content:
- Content that promotes illegal activities or dangerous driving.
- Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory content.
- Copyrighted material without proper authorization.
- Personal information of others without consent.
- Any content that sexualizes or endangers minors, which we report to the authorities (see our Child Safety Standards).
8.Subscription & Billing
- FleetShare is free to download. FleetShare Turbo and the SpotaLabs Ecosystem plan are optional subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
- No refunds are issued for unused subscription time unless required by law. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies.
9.Location Usage
- FleetShare does not use your device's location

We collect data to provide and improve our services. For detailed information about what we collect and how we use it, please review our Privacy Policy.
11.Shared Car Information
Shared Cars:
- Only add cars that your group owns or has agreed to manage together.
- Keep vehicle details, documents and maintenance records accurate and current.
12.Community Guidelines
Respectful Behavior:
- Treat all community members with respect and courtesy.
- Be honest in everything you post and every deal you make.
- Report inappropriate behavior or content to help maintain community standards.
13.Intellectual Property
FleetShare and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Spota Labs, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
14.Limitation of Liability
FleetShare is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpotaLabs is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or from dealings with other users, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or data loss. Users are responsible for their own safety and compliance with local laws. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
15.Termination
You can stop using FleetShare and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, or for any activity deemed harmful to the community or platform.
16.Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
